New Member of Staff: Jeffrey Schott
Following the retirement of our beloved Gate Guard, John Sasser, EOA Management and the HR Committee are excited to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Schott as the new Gate Guard. Jeffrey comes to us with a strong background and a fresh perspective, and we are confident he will uphold the high standards of professionalism and warmth set by John.
You may have guessed it — Jeffrey is the brother of our very own Tom Schott, who is also a valued member of the EOA team. We look forward to the energy and teamwork this brotherly duo will bring to our workplace!

Design Review Board Members Needed!
The Ennisbrook Community relies upon the efforts of volunteers who serve on the Design Review Board to assess and approve proposed landscape and structural changes to resident homes. Members work with Professional Landscape Architects and Structural Architects at DRB meetings, typically 3-4x a year.

Facilities: 2025 Items of Focus
The Board of Directors and members of the Reserve and Finance committees are diligent in maintaining a 30-year-long Reserve study. A Reserve budget organizes projected expenses and helps avoid emergency assessments. Some of the following Reserve items have already been researched and approved by the Board for execution this year:
- Security System, Video Monitors at various locations
- NEW Website: Member Area and Information Resource Center
- Fitness Center A/V Technology Improvements
- Gutter installation at Guard Shack, Guard Break room
- Pool Gate Keypad

The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 3:00PM in the Clubhouse.
Reminder: Gas-Powered Leaf Blowers
A friendly reminder: gas-powered leaf blowers are not allowed in Ennisbrook. Please inform your gardeners or landscape providers to use electric leaf blowers only.
A Friendly Note About Landscape Lighting
The Montecito Board of Architectural Review DOES NOT allow landscape uplighting as it violates Dark Sky rules. For a list of approved alternatives, please contact Brittney Crooks, On Site Manager (office@ennisbrook.com).

Note: Our gate staff conducts a thorough neighborhood daily watch from 7:30-8:00AM and from 9:00-9:30PM.

Monday - Friday
Service providers may enter at 7:45AM. No noise before 8:00AM or after 5:00PM.
Saturday
Service providers may enter at 7:45AM.
No noise before 9:00AM or after 3:00PM.
Quiet/minimal work between 9:00AM - 3:00PM.
No heavy equipment or material deliveries allowed.
Sunday / Holidays
No work. No noise.
Please note: Supervisors, gardeners, landscapers, painters, housekeepers, and moving vans are allowed access anytime a resident requires their service. However, the no-noise schedule must be observed.
